Huntley House is an owner run 4 Star Bed and Breakfast situated in the quiet leafy suburb of Westville right where you need to be. The B&B is a home away from home for corporate and leisure travelers. It is within easy reach of Durban, Pinetown, New Germany and Westmead just minutes from both the N2 and N3 freeways, 10 minutes from Durban city centre, the International Convention Centre and 25 minutes from King Shaka airport. We are a stone’s throw away from UKZN Westville Campus as well as Derby Downs Office Park & Essex Terrace.

We have become partially independent of Eskom electricity having installed a hybrid solar power system.

Our tastefully decorated, en suite bedrooms all open up onto courtyards with their own entrance and off street parking. All rooms have flat screen TV’s most being SMART with their own decoder & DSTV hospitality bouquet channels, Netflix and You Tube. Each room has free high speed WiFi connectivity, air conditioning, a bar fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities.

Evening meals & lunches are available on request.

A beautifully presented, delicious breakfast is served either outside in the courtyard or in the sunny relaxed breakfast room with a view of the tropical garden.
If you have time on your hands or after a hard day’s work you can relax around the sparkling pool with a cold refreshment.

There are a number of established traditional restaurants, quick serve outlets and pubs within 2 to 10 minutes drive of Huntley House. A visitor will be spoilt for choice amongst the numerous shopping centres and malls. Within a few minutes’ drive you find the Westwood, The Pavilion and Westville Malls. Restaurants within 1 km are Lupa, Waxy O’ Connor, Foon Lok Nien, Dukes and O&O Café.

For the fit and active the Virgin Active Gym, Westville Country Club and Palmiet Nature Reserve are all in close proximity. The sports spectator can choose from an outing to Kings Park Stadium the home of Sharks rugby or the landmark Moses Madiba World Cup football stadium or Kingsmead to watch a game of cricket.

The area also offers numerous entertainment opportunities from Durban’s famous beaches, Ushaka Marine World, harbour cruises to the Suncoast Casino, mini golf, ten pin bowling and numerous movie theatres.

For those that wish to venture further afield the Valley of a Thousand Hills, Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom and Gateway Mall are all within 25 minutes drive.
